Deliciously Simple 2-Ingredient Keto Scones

Are you in the mood for a keto-friendly treat that's incredibly easy to make? These 2-ingredient keto scones were born out of a happy accident during an attempt to make keto bagels.

As it turns out, the universe had a tastier plan in mind. With just two key ingredients, these scones are packed with protein and healthy fats from almonds, making them not only delicious but also gluten-free, very low in carbs, and blood sugar-friendly.

So, Deliciously Simple 2-Ingredient Keto Scones... are you ready?

  • 1 cup Kalo Unflavoured Greek Yogurt

  • 2 cups Almond Meal (or Almond Flour)


  1. Start by preheating your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and prepare a cupcake tray by greasing it lightly with butter or olive oil. Alternatively, you can place them on a sheet of baking paper on an oven tray; the dough won't stick, which makes it easy.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond meal and Greek yogurt. Mix them together until they form a dough-like texture. You'll be amazed at how quickly and easily this comes together.

  3. Once you've formed the dough, take spoonfuls of it and place them into your prepared cupcake moulds or on the baking paper. You should be able to make about 6 to 8 scones, depending on the size you prefer.

  4. Bake the scones in the preheated oven and keep a close eye on them. They should be ready in approximately 30 minutes, or when the tops start to turn a beautiful golden brown.

  5. Once your scones are cooked to perfection, it's decision time. You can either go sweet or savoury, depending on your taste buds.

For Savoury Scones:

  • Slice one of the scones in half and place it under the grill. Allow it to get slightly toasted on top.

  • Slather it with a generous amount of butter. The rich, creamy butter will melt into your scone, creating a mouthwatering treat. You know the drill

  • If you want to make it into a meal, top scones with ham and cheese or your FAVOURITE toppings!

For Sweet Scones:

  • Any Brits out there reading this? Tell me!

  • Cream or jam first... now that is the question right.

  • With a lack of cream... I topped the scones with another dollop of more Greek yogurt for a tangy twist.

  • Add a ripe strawberry for a fresh and fruity touch.

  • If you're craving a little sweetness, you can also microwave some berries with a touch of maple syrup to create a delicious jam or compote to drizzle over your scone.
